Collaboration with museums
My work is closely connected to museums as spaces for inclusion, learning, and well-being. I focus on developing and researching dementia-friendly and accessible museum practices, supporting museums in becoming more inclusive for people living with dementia and other socially excluded groups. Through training, participatory projects, and research, I help museums design meaningful cultural experiences that connect health, care, and culture, while strengthening their role as active partners in community well-being and social change. I have led trainings on accessibility and dementia as well as facilitated creative workshop activities in numerous museums and cultural institutions, including the National M. K. Čiurlionis Art Museum, the Lithuanian National Museum of Art, the Lithuanian National Museum, MO Museum, Kaunas Biennial among many others.
